Strengthening The Cooperation Between Turkish and Armenian Business Associations

Exhibitions

Taking into consideration that most of the products in the Armenian market are of Turkish origin, TABDC is intending to organize an exhibition in Yerevan to promote Turkey’s industrial products. There is incredible potential for the two countries, working in concert, to start trading a large volume of goods and services. Turkish and Armenian business associations are in regular contact and working on details of operation. The exact time of the exhibition will be determined after governmental considerations have been settled. Turkish and Armenian business associations are in regular contact to realize exhibition.

Business trips

In order to further promote and develop our countries’ existing trade, TABDC has been organizing mutual business trips in both countries between the businessmen and business associations.

Our future agenda is to organize a business trip with the Chamber of Commerce of Istanbul to Yerevan, and a meeting between the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia (UMBA) and the Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen Association (TUSIAD).

Turkish Trade Center in Yerevan

TABDC plans to open the Turkish Trade Center in Yerevan. The Center will make Turkish goods and service directly available to consumers not only in Armenia but also in the Central Asia and Russia through Armenians living in the region.

Securing the flow-of-trade information

TABDC is not only an information intermediary but also an information center to secure flow-of-trade information. This information should help facilitate increases in the volume of business between the two countries.

TABDC has been keeping the Turkish, Armenian, and American business circles informed about its activities on a regular basis. Besides the weekly “TABDC Newsletter” - published since June 1997. We report recent developments in Armenia and the region upon request.
